EDPnet is currently facing an issue in the Brussels area. Because of this, some of our customers are not able to surf.
Our network specialists are currently working on it to fix it as soon as possible.
We can only advice you to reboot your modem from time to time.

In order to improve our network, EDPnet will perform a maintenance to a router in Brussels on the 21th of June, at 4 o'clock in the morning. As a result of this maintenance, nearly all our services will be inaccessible for about 10 minutes.
So we ask you to take into account that several services will temporarily be disturbed, including:
- ALL xDSL customers
- DNS servers
- Authentication servers
- Proxy servers
- Backup servers for dedicated / shared hostings
The maintenance have been executed with no problem, and is closed now.

EDPnet will execute a maintenance on his authentication server on monday morning.
During this migration, you may have difficulties to establish an Internet connection.
This maintenance should normally not have any impact for the customers.

There is a general issue on our radiusserver at the moment. It can cause connection problems. If you are connected now and can surf please DO NOT restart your modem.
EDPnet is busy finding the solution.

Update from the 16/06/2010: Problem has been solved the 15/06 in the evening.
You may need to reboot several times your modem to establish the connection.

EDPnet just experienced a power outage in the collocation of Sint-Niklaas. Because of roadworks gas and electricity have been disconnected. Our backupsystem hasn't immediately relayed the power and all our infrastructure in Sint-Niklaas was powered off. In the meanwhile the collocation is running again on Dieselpower.
You may experience the following problems:
- No Internet
- Parts of the internet not available.
- Your hosted website/server temporarily not reachable.
- Email/DNS/other services temporarily not reachable

Due to a fibercut the datacenter of EDPnet in Sint-Niklaas experienced capacity issues. The capacity was reduced to 1/5th of the normal capacity.
This caused issues for :
- Dedicated customers with equipment in Sint-Niklaas.
- Reachability of mail and hostingservices from EDPnet.
- Slow xDSL connections for 02 and 03 telephone zone.

EDPnet is currently having a problem with his mailserver. As a consequence, it's possible that there is some delay on sending / receiving e-mail, and also to get authenticated.
We advise you to retry later if you are facing this problem.
Our specialists are currently investigating the problem. As soon as we have more informations, we will update our wiki page.
Update of 01/03/2010: To solve the problem, EDPnet needs to perform an emergency maintenance. During that maintenance, mailservice will not work. This maintenance will take place between 12:00 and 13:00 this Monday 1/03/2010.

As consequence, some customer cannot establish a connection. This issue should be solved around 10:00.

In order to prevent a repetition of the problems with our supplier (Scarlet) at the datacenter in Vilvoorde over the last months, there will be maintenance activities conducted there from Monday the 14th of September until Sunday the 27th of September.
The maintenance activities from the 14th of September until the 19th of September will not affect you.
During the maintenance activities on the 20th of September you may experience a brief interruption of your connection between 07:30 and 17:00.
On Sunday the 27th of September all maintenance activities should be finished.

Due to a router's hardware failure in Vilvoorde, SDSL customer can be facing some difficulties with their line. The defect cards are now replaced.

Because of a power cut at the Scarlet data centre in Vilvoorde, ADSL and SDSL customers in the regions of Brussels, Flemish and Walloon Brabant, and parts of the provinces of Liège, Antwerp and Limburg, such as the Campine region, lost internet connectivity.
Fixed IP customers throughout Belgium may also have suffered from this outage.
The aftermath of these outages can still be felt to this moment. We kindly urge you to be patient, to reboot your modem or router from time to time, and not to call us back before Monday noon, as waiting queues are quite long right now.
EDPnet is disappointed by our main DSL supplier's recent unreliability. This is why, amongst other reasons, EDPnet had already begun deploying its own DSL network, which will make us entirely independent from such cases of force majeure.

This pertains particularly to the following towns and cities: Diegem, Haren, Zaventem, St.-Stevens-Woluwe/Woluwe-St.-Etienne, Woluwe-St.-Lambert/St.-Lambrechts-Woluwe, Woluwe-St.-Pierre/St.-Pieters-Woluwe, Kraainem, Sterrebeek, Wezembeek-Oppem, Evere, Schaerbeek/Schaarbeek, Molenbeek-St.-Jean/St.-Jans-Molenbeek, St.-Josse-ten-Noode/St.-Joost-ten-Node, Brussels City, Etterbeek, Ixelles/Elsene, St.-Gilles/St.-Gillis, Forest/Vorst, Uccle/Ukkel, Watermael-Boitsfort/Watermaal-Bosvoorde.

An ATM interface on a router located at Vilvoorde is facing an outage, as a consequence of which a number of customers in the centre and the South of the country are offline. This pertains mostly to the Brussels region, the provinces of Flemish and Walloon Brabant and the Ardennes and Kempen regions. A repair timing has not yet been communicated, but is expected in the course of Thursday afternoon. You may reboot your modem/router from time to time.
